Speaker setup in floor 7 meeting room

we could mount the speakers on the front wall ( where the
projection screen is at ) on the center beam where the projector
screen is mounted on. It's fairly secured and easy to install, with
the subwoofer installed in the middle of the center beam. The only
problem is that the subwoofer doen't have wallmount, therefore
hole-drilling on the subwoofer is required so that degradation on the
sound quality will happen.
Another issue with the plan is that the speakers are installed
in the front part of the room, which might introduce a balance issue
as the voice in the front part of the room is magnified by both the
presenter's voice and the speaker; whereas the back part of the room
wont get any boost. This shouldn't be too much of an issue since the
room isn't that big, but there might be times when the audiance
sitting in the front thinks the volume is too big while the audiance
sitting in the back cant hear clearly.

2. we could mount the speakers on the platform where the projector is
sitting at. This plan provides the best sound balance as the two
speakers can be mounted face the back of the room. And since the
speakers can sit close enough to each other the potential
wire-not-long-enough issue is dodged. But mounting the speakers
especially the subwoofer could be quite a challenge.

In terms of wiring, both plans consume the similar amount of wiring. I
would also suggest purchasing a 16-20 feet VGA/AUDIO cable so that the
presenter can sit any where in the room.( product information could be
found here
http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10201&cs_id=1020106&p_id=559&style=&seq=1&format=1#largeimage

in both plans, mounting of the subwoofer could be a potential problem.
As the subwoofer is not mount ready and quite bulky and heavy. If
possible, i would suggest we return the current model we have to
exchange for a 2.0 speaker system which doesn't require a subwoofer.
